CH International is run by a board of four members, revolving on an annual basis from July 1st to June 30th, and supported by the CHI co-ordinator who takes care of the day-to-day running of the organisation. The board play a key role in driving the organisation forward in terms of the quality of service provided to clients, the breadth of offering to member firms and by growing the organisation's membership.
Having actual members on the board adds a valuable perspective to the key issues, objectives of the group and how the goals can be achieved. It also allows members to get involved and influence the future direction of the organisation.
The board consists of The President, The Immediate Past President (from the previous year), The Incoming President (President for the future year) and the standing board member from the UK.
President 2007/2008 – Anders Strigen,
Stratego Revision – CHI Sweden

I am delighted to have taken the role of President of CH International and am eager to contribute my ideas and business management experience to drive CHI forward, with the help of my fellow board members.
Each President and board member lending their skills over recent years has helped to develop some great initiatives to help grow our network and improve the quality of service experienced by our clients, and indeed our members. With my term as President, I intend to enhance our knowledge sharing and learning as a group, help expand the network for the mutual benefit of our clients and members, and, above all, strive for continued added value.
My business, Stratego Revision, was set up in 1998 and is situated on the West Coast of Sweden. We assist clients with audit, accounting, taxation and economic consultation and in areas outside of our core expertise, we work closely with experts in information technology, commercial law, corporate finance and management organisation.
Being a member of CH International means that we can work closely with our associates when clients need assistance in more than one jurisdiction – removing the hassle of co-ordinating with different advisors overseas.
Immediate Past President 2006/2007 – Franz Hamann,
Hamann Carstensen Haseloff – CHI Germany

I have now come to the end of my term as President and after several years of active involvement in CHI, I am delighted to have had the opportunity to take the lead on initiatives to help the organisation grow and strengthen. I’m happy to be working with Anders as our new President and our incoming board member, Thomas, over the next year to charge forward with the foundations myself and previous board members have built for our organisation’s future development.
My career started in tax consultancy and I later went on to qualify and practice as a Certified Public Accountant – taking over a strong family business started by my late mother. Our firm, Hamann Carstensen Haseloff, has grown substantially since those early days and I am delighted to work as senior partner with a dynamic and highly capable team of people. My specialisation lies in assisting clients in all economic affairs and auditing matters and I am also known as the “Foreign Minister” at our organisation due to my work with overseas contacts.
Previously I was on the board of the Berlin Chamber of Tax Consultants and the examinations board for tax consultants, giving me additional experience and understanding of the professional.
On a personal level, living on the Island of Fehmarn means I am ideally placed to practice my hobby of sailing and I thoroughly enjoy country life with my farm animals. Equally, I am a lover of city pursuits such as jazz clubs, modern theatre and cabaret.
Incoming President 2008/2009 – Thomas Schoenherr,
IBS & Partners – CHI Luxembourg

After our long lasting experience in co-operating with CH International colleagues from various countries, I am looking forward to working with my fellow board members on the future direction of the group. I would like to focus on the improvement of the internal communication tools and on facilitating the exchange and co-operation between our members.
My objective is to strengthen the co-operation between the national partner companies on projects with international dimensions. I am keen to place my experience in communication and information technologies at CH International’s disposal.
When CH International was founded, accounting issues were the basic pillars of our network. It’s comforting and great to see that today expertise and knowledge offered by the network goes far beyond these original fundaments. I am looking forward to co-operating to the growth of the network.
Standing Board Member - Colin Ellis,
Clarkson Hyde - CHI United Kingdom
I have been on the board of CHI for just over a year. The idea behind having a standing board member from the UK was to provide consistency of contact where the main administration functions take place.
I have been at Clarkson Hyde for two years and specialise in the audit, tax and corporate finance areas of business. I have also acted for International clients on acquisitions, mergers and general fund raising, with a focus on Hong Kong and China.
In my spare time I enjoy coaching football to all age groups which keeps me relatively fit... and I also have four children of my own to keep me on my toes.
CHI Co-ordinator - Carly Davis,
Based in London
My role predominantly involves providing ongoing support to the members so that CH International adds value to their organisation. I am also involved in various activities to assist with the recruitment of new members in key target jurisdictions, planning meetings and conferences for the group and supporting the Executive Board in the delivery of group marketing and development initiatives.
CH International is an established, ambitious network, with a strong vision for growth and I thoroughly enjoy working with the board and other members to help it strengthen and grow.
In my spare time I enjoy going socialising with friends, going out for dinner and doing a little retail therapy.
