The firm was founded in 1982, by Luc Lefèvre in Paris. Since that date it has expanded, and now consists of approximately 45 partners and staff. It is based in 10 locations, of which 8 are located within a distance of 60 km. from Paris, and two in Southern France (Nice and Bastia). Member companies and individual partners belong to the Ordre des Experts Comptables and the Compagnie des Commissaires aux Comptes.

As may be expected from the number of offices, Groupe Agora specialises in serving small and medium sized clients; there are a number of larger clients, mainly handled by head office in Paris.

The firm's policy is for an individual partner or staff member to be assigned to each client and to remain in constant contact, so that we immediately become aware of any potential problems and can act accordingly.
